4.30pm - 5.30pm (1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th class -- Multi Sports & Games)

Playball is more than just sports instruction. We take a holistic approach and believe that our classes promote physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. For example, children learn valuable skills in attention and concentration, develop confidence, form and solidify friendships.

We help children develop skills that deal with the challenges and obstacles of everyday life through sport and we adapt and modify our sessions in order to make them inclusive for all ability levels.

The success of the Playball 'sport programme' is that through competent sports participation, your child will secure a solid base from which to develop many other important aspects of their lives.

Our Coaches

	Nikki Squire nikki@nikkisplayballkids.ie // Phone: 0874184122 // Mobile: 0874184122 I have spent over twenty five years coaching a multitude of sports and teaching Physical Education to children in both Primary and Secondary schools in Ireland. I have been actively involved with Playball for the past ten years and have thoroughly enjoyed the concept of Playball and watching every child develop and grow at their own pace. I am constantly working with children with various disabilities including Autism, Asperger's, ASD, DCD, Down Syndrome and ADHD and I have completed a certificate in Disability Inclusion Training with CARA- National Adapted Physical Activity Centre. I represented my country at Hockey, Athletics & Cricket and captained my country in the Cricket European Championship to became the first captain to win the tournament. I have also represented Pegasus Hockey Club at European Level and represented my province at squash.
	Playball Coaches // Mobile: 0874184122 Playball coaches recognise that when coaching young children sport, it is not appropriate to teach physical skills in isolation. The emotional, social and cognitive development of the student has an equally important role to play when considering how the student is taught. A very important component of our teaching methodology, is to make the children aware about social skills, values and norms whilst developing their physical skills. This approach is educational and holistic, ensuring that the focus is on the development of the “whole child”. Our approach is a positive one – we believe that positive encouragement and giving the child an opportunity to experience success (however small) results in improved self-concept and confidence which in turn will improve competence.

Playball Camps are tailored to meet the needs of younger children and are based on the fundamental sport skills for tennis, hockey, cricket, football, rugby, basketball, volleyball, olympic handball - just about any ball sport you can imagine!
Fun sports and lots of fun alternative games.

The purpose of our Playball Camps is to provide high quality, age-appropriate and fun holiday activities for children aged 4yrs - 12yrs.

Please note there is a cancellation fee of €25 for all camp bookings to cover administrative costs.

Parties

Our Playball parties are great party entertainment and are a hit with parents because our Playball coaches take the reins, handle all the games and activities & also assist you in serving the food & cleaning up for you, while you sit back and watch your party peeps have a blast!

Our special Playball party formula, which has been proven for years, ensures that everyone has a fantastic experience on your child's big day!

All the hosting parent/s need to do is organize the party food, and we'll provide the fun, which will leave all the kids exhausted, but exhilarated. We will also assist in serving the party food and tidy up afters, giving you the host time to chat with the other parents at going home time.

Party's cost €175 for a maximum of 20 children. (age dependant) excluding hall hire
For numbers above 20 there is an additional €6 charge per extra child.
There is also an extra charge for a second coach for party's with more than 20/22 children depending on ages.

Includes time for your birthday/party cake, (food and drinks, depending on venue)

Public Liability Insurance
Party bags supplied @ €2 per head if required.
You choose your venue, whether it's in your own home (plenty of space for children to run is required for playball), or a hall of your choosing. Preference for a Playball Party is a Hall or astro or large grass area.
If you need help with venues we can help arrange the hiring of a hall.
