Welcome to my Franchise
Welcome to our FranchisePlayball is a comprehensive movement and multi sports programme for 2-9 year olds which is internationally recognised in 13 countries across the globe. The programme focusses on the development of life skills through sports skills with the basics of cricket, football, tennis, hockey, netball, basketball and baseball being taught.
The Playball programme caters for boys and girls of every ability and provides foundation sports skills for athletes of the future. It is based on the ethos that through competent sports participation, your child will secure a solid base from which to develop sports and life skills.
Our Playball classes progress from simple sports introduction to mini sport games which run parallel to the school academic year. Each class caters for one age group and covers an extensive range of sports related skills which are pitched at the correct developmental level. These are constantly reviewed to ensure that your child develops at the right pace physically, mentally and socially in a fun and structured environment.
Playball Farnham will initially be focussing on the two initial programs for 2/3 year olds ( "2 Can Do") and for 3/4 year olds (Watch me at 3).
2 Can Do - our toddler classes focus on laying the foundation of movement , allowing your child to accomplish more challenging sports related skills as they progress throughout the Playball programme. It is age specific and has been specifically designed to complement the developmental skills of this age group e.g. number, colour and shape recognition. A 2 year old toddler is still discovering the wonderful things that their bodies can do and the class will develop locomotion, spatial awareness, balance and fine motor skills.
Watch Me at 3 - A healthy balance is maintained between fun and learning as your child is introduced to more specific sports skills. The emphasis is on having fun and playing games with a ball so that your child's experience of sport is a fun and positive one. We teach all basic ball and sports skills with the emphasis on achieving the correct grip position, body position and head position, thus developing your child's enjoyment for, and confidence to participate in sporting activities.

My name is Marielle and I am a mother of 3 children, 2 of whom currently attend South Farnham Infant School. As a child my sporting interests were varied and included netball, athletics, cross country, martial arts and dance. Since my school years I have continued being very much involved in sport with activities ranging from national athletics and cross country training with the Aldershot Military to being a full time Martial Arts and Kickboxing instructor for 12 years. I am an appointed "Assistant Beaver Scout Leader" with the 5th Farnham Scout Group which involves working with children in many sporting and teamwork activities. I am passionate about Playball and the solid foundation it gives children in sport and can't wait to meet your children to teach them the Playball way.

I am a mum of 3 small children and I am passionate about the importance of sport in children's and adults' life. I played many sports when I was young with tennis, hockey and squash being my most preferred. I played squash for Scotland and for Edinburgh University and I still play squash and tennis on a regular basis. I love being a Playball coach as I love sewing the seeds for an enthusiasm and passion for sport in children. My mantra is "Movement is Medicine" and there is nothing better than seeing a child master a skill which they were previously unable to do. The sense of achievement for the child, and for me, is amazing!
