Playball is a highly specialised sport and movement program developed by sports experts, educational specialists, occupational and physical therapists.

The Playball Programme
Playball would like to offer all girls and boys an opportunity to participate in sport and physical activity on a weekly basis with our inspiring and fun-loving programme.
Our objective is to help enhance a positive attitude to being active and to develop essential physical skills, building a strong foundation for all ball sports.
Children will be working towards:
-Increased confidence and independence
-Physical Development - agility, balance, co-ordination and overall gross motor development.
-Social Development - forming good relationships and team work.
-Language for communication - understanding and following instructions.
-Dispositions & Attitudes - motivation to want to succeed, persistence and courage to keep on trying and a mature attitude to both winning and handling disappointment.
-The ability to take part in, not just one, but multiple sports!!
-A LOVE FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORT FOR LIFE…..
Asides from the general life skills (co-ordination, independence, self-worth, leadership, team-work) gained at Playball, our main sports covered are tennis, hockey, football, cricket, rugby, tag, basketball, netball and volleyball. Our action-packed curriculum will engage your little star in fun, age-appropriate, high quality games and activities, ensuring that they have a positive experience with us and enjoy being physically active!
We have successfully coached over five thousand children in the South Dublin area since we started in 2008. Playball follows the progression from basic fundamental sports skills, to mini games and full team matches!

Our Camps
The specialists in childrens' multi-sports CAMPS!!**NEXT BLACKROCK CAMPS (3-days) at Spring Mid Term.
Tues, Wed and Thurs 13th - 15th February 2024.
• 4-8 years Playball camp
• 9-13 years Playsports Camp
* 8-15 years for HOCKEY CAMP
Open to 3-4 yr olds if siblings attending Playball camp.
Fee: 70e per child. Sibling discounts for 3 or more.
Playball camps are based on the fundamental sport skills for tennis, hockey, cricket, golf, football, rugby, basketball, football, volleyball - just about any ball sport you can imagine! Plus inside games, art, dance and development.

• Parties on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays for up to 2-hours (1.5 hrs for 3-5 yr old Monti parties!)
• Stress free for parents!!!

• We have lots of great venues, or you can sort that yourselves!
• Party invitations via email/whatsapp and hard copy
• Insurance and all sports equipment provided
• Playball t-shirt or gift for the Birthday child/ren!
• Children will go home tired but very happy!!!
Themes for YOUNGER CHILDREN (3-7 yrs)
We're very happy to tailor the party to a particular theme and run party games requested but best we work through our array of party fun games!!
Themes for OLDER CHILDREN (8-14 yrs)
For older children, we're happy to deliver their favourite sports or leave it to us to provide a real mix of sport games that will engage boys and girls alike. For example: dodgeball, uni-hockey, tag, football, basketball, capture the flag, don’t miss a loop, tug of war, athletics and lots of team competitions!!!
Prices vary for number of children and coaches required.

Schools
Playball is coached in lots of schools as part of the PE curriculum, or as an after school activity.
