Hi, I'm Beulah, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to PLAYBALL NORTH SHORE! Originally from South Africa, I've had the privilege of working as an early childhood teacher for over 18 years. Now, living in beautiful Auckland with my husband and son, I’m passionate about providing children with the opportunity to grow through sports in our supportive, fun environment.

At Playball, we believe that sports are an incredible tool for nurturing a child's development, and our dedicated coaches are here to guide your little ones every step of the way. We’re more than just a class—we're building lasting relationships and celebrating every milestone along the journey. Watching our young athletes grow in confidence, skill, and joy is truly rewarding!

As mentioned above, I'm a former South African educator with 18 years of experience teaching children up to the age of nine. While I'm relatively new to New Zealand, I'm thrilled to be joining the Playball team. I possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, which I'm actively applying in this new venture. I have a deep passion for children and believe in fostering their development at their own individual pace. At Playball, we value and celebrate each child's unique personality.
	Ane Peasley // Mobile: +64 274914149 Hi, I'm Ané! I am thrilled to share my passion for sports with you. As a semi-pro sprinter and hurdler, I've loved sports my whole life, and now I get to be a Playball coach! After studying Business and Exercise Science in the U.S. on a sports scholarship, I realized I wanted to make a real difference in kids' lives through movement.With my background as a swimming and athletics coach, you can expect lots of energy, warmth, and tons of fun in every session. I love helping little ones boost their confidence and coordination, and honestly, seeing kids light up when they're active is what inspires me every single day!
	Kirk Hopkins // Mobile: +64 274914149 Hi, I'm Kirk! I'm a qualified fitness trainer with experience traveling the world, helping people achieve their fitness goals. Recently, I've really enjoyed coaching children's teams in various sports. I also have a son who loves staying active by exploring the outdoors and trying new activities together. I enjoy Playball because I love sharing the joys of physical activity in a fun, safe, and engaging way. My favourite part of Playball is watching the children's confidence grow.
	Liza du Plessis // Mobile: +64 274914149 Hi, I'm Liza! I'm a passionate Playball coach who loves working with kids and helping them develop through movement and play. As a nursing student and fitness enthusiast, I understand the crucial importance of building confidence, coordination, and social skills from a young age. I believe Playball cultivates a love for being active while teaching valuable life skills in a fun and supportive environment. We're here to help your little ones grow through sport, adventure, and skill-building – one game at a time.

Our Classes

Term 1 2025 - Starts 10th of February till 18th of April.
Term 2 2025 - Starts 28th of April till 27th of June.
Term 3 2025 - Starts 14th of July till 12th of September.
Term 4 2025 - Starts 6th of October till 12th of December.
(Term 4 includes an additional fee of $10 for the medal.)

When sessions are cancelled due to rain, we will schedule make-up sessions during the last week of the term or during the school holidays, depending on how many sessions we need to make up.

Our Camps

Playball holiday camps are tailored to meet the needs of younger children and are based on the fundamental sport skills for tennis, hockey, cricket, golf, football, rugby, basketball, football, volleyball - just about any ball sport you can imagine! The purpose of our Playball holiday camps is to provide high quality, age-appropriate and fun holiday activities for children aged 3-9 years.

Life happens, but if you need to cancel within 48 hours, there's a $50 cancellation fee. If you've paid in full, we'll refund the rest. Want to reschedule? No problem! We'll happily transfer your full payment to a new date, no extra fees.

Playball Important Info

1. Automatic enrolments - To save you time and guarantee your child’s spot, enrolment automatically carries over each term. This simple system ensures consistent fun and that no child is ever accidentally left behind. Unless you choose to OPT OUT, please do so via email.
2. Fees are structured on a per-term basis, irrespective of the term's duration - 8, 9, or 10 weeks.
The minimum amount of sessions will be eight per term.
3. Public Holidays: We don't offer make-up sessions for public holidays, parents will receive a credit for the next term if there are fewer than eight sessions in the current term.
4. Unfortunately we do not provide refunds, only credit to be applied for the next term.
Where a child misses three or more sessions due to illness or a family holiday, parents may request credit to be applied or a refund if they are opting out.
5. When sessions are cancelled due to rain or adverse weather conditions, make-up sessions will be scheduled during the final week of each academic term or during holiday periods, only if a minimum of eight sessions were not reached for the term.
6. We offer invoice adjustments for children transitioning to primary school.
