Hi there, I'm Amanda and I have a BSc Honours Degree in Early Childhood Health Care and Education. I have a lot of experience of working in childcare settings and have been a playball coach for 6 years. I've come from a sporting background and have had a keen interest in Karate (represented Northern Ireland), Hockey and Boxing from a young age. From my previous experience in working in childcare settings and through my own sporting background, I have seen the impact the Playball curriculum has on children. The life skills Playball teaches, as well as the physical progression are crucial to develop well adjusted and balanced children, on the sports field and in the classroom. I've also experienced the importance of having a great coach as a role model for shaping my sporting journey which I am keen to replicate!
