Playball is a movement and sport skills program specifically designed for preschoolers. Playball is currently being offered in Westport, CT and surrounding towns, as an in-school activity where physical skills and sport fundamentals are taught and nurtured. It is through the medium of sports, and the developmentally progressive way in which Playball is taught, that children build competence in life skills such as: confidence, independence, perseverance, respect for others and many other basic functional skills.Playball students learn the foundation skills for all major American sports, while simultaneously developing the basic tools necessary to successfully integrate into elementary school and life beyond. Playball teaches holistically, whereby children are taught social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills every week, in every lesson. Playball is unique because:* Our program is continually updated by experts in the field of childrens' sports and fitness. Our classes are age appropriate and progressive. We are results oriented.* Each Playball class is different from the next. Classes are sized to easily monitor development and progression.* Playball is non-competitive, so no child feels pressure. Classes are quick paced to keep children active from start to finish.

// Mobile: (203) 451-8600 I have been with Playball since early 2016, coming from a varied background of: parenting, retail, banking, MA in Counseling Psychology and an MA in Occupational Therapy. I love children, and am particularly thrilled to be working with preschoolers! As an occupational therapist, I have full buy-in regarding the research and development that has gone into the Playball Program. It is both educationally and developmentally sound. Many years ago in Atlanta, GA, I saw first-hand the many skills my own two boys gleaned from Playball. Most importantly, I saw the excitement in their eyes on Playball day! Little did I know that over 10 years later I would find myself in a position to bring this wonderful program to CT, and do something that I am both passionate about and fully vested in. |

Our Camps
Playball holiday camps are tailored to meet the needs of younger children and are based on the fundamental sport skills for tennis, hockey, cricket, golf, football, rugby, basketball, football, volleyball - just about any ball sport you can imagine!The purpose of our Playball holiday camps is to provide high quality, age-appropriate and fun holiday activities for children aged 3-9 years.

Parties
Our Playball parties are great birthday party entertainment and are a hit with parents because our Playball coaches take the reins, handle all the games and activities, while you and your guests sit back and watch your party peeps have a blast! Each party is designed to suit the age range of the birthday group, which can be any age between 3 and 6 years. Leave it to us to provide a mix of sports and games that will engage both boys and girls alike! Children thrive in our fun filled, high quality sport lessons. Our special Playball party formula, which has been proven for years, ensures that everyone has a fantastic experience on your child's big day!All the hosting parents need to do is organize the birthday venue and the party food. We'll provide the fun, which will leave everyone exhausted, but exhilarated!
Schools
Playball provides professional sports instruction taught by specialist coaches to complement regular curricula. This is why Playball classes are currently being offered in child care centers, nursery schools, pre-schools and primary schools around the globe. Children thrive in our fun filled, high quality sport lessons. The Playball program offers each child an opportunity to develop confidence and life skills through sports participation.Lesson plans have been developed by Playball in consultation with leading child specialists to be outcome-based and developmentally appropriate for the age group being taught. The Program takes a three pronged approach by delivering a fun and challenging learning environment promoting life skills, school readiness skills, and sport skills alike. The Playball Program works toward providing: Concentration, Focus and Listening Skills, Cooperation, Persistence, Confidence and Social Skills, Courage, A mature attitude toward both winning and handling disappointment, as well as the Ability to take part in, not just one, but multiple sports.
