Welcome to our Playball family in Mossel Bay area, where children are motivated to want to play, be active and learn essential fundamental skills for all ball sports. We are a multi-sport group that encourages all-round development through structured sports play sessions.Children thrive in our fun filled, high quality sport lessons. Creating a learning environment, which boosts confidence and self-esteem, is paramount in all the Playball programs. The children will be coached to engage confidently in a wide range of sport skills, preparing them for years of positive, competent sports participation.

She holds a Level 1 SAHA Hockey Coaching qualification. She is compassionate and highly attuned to the emotional ups and downs of young children and specializes in working with ages 2 to 6 years. Her focus is on building confidence, encouraging perseverance, and developing age-appropriate skills. She has a natural ability to motivate children to excel and is deeply committed to helping each child reach their full potential on the sports field. |

Carmen Botha
// Mobile: 072 586 2387 Hi, I’m Coach Carmen! I have been a Playball coach from 2007 to 2014, and after seven years I proudly returned to Playball again in 2022. I coach children from babies through to Grade R and have a real passion for early childhood development. I come from a very sporty family — my dad was an excellent tennis and table tennis player, and my mom was a talented athlete and gymnast. Growing up in this environment inspired my own love for sport, and I participated in athletics and gymnastics myself. I believe that sport at a young age should be fun, encouraging, and confidence-building. My goal is to create a safe and positive space where every child feels included, supported, and excited to move and play. |

Our Camps
Playball holiday camps are tailored to meet the needs of younger children and are based on the fundamental sport skills for tennis, hockey, cricket, golf, football, rugby, basketball, football, volleyball - just about any ball sport you can imagine!The purpose of our Playball holiday camps is to provide high quality, age-appropriate and fun holiday activities for children aged 3-9 years.

Schools
Many school principals all over the world have implemented the Playball program as part of their school curriculum. In Mossel Bay there are already 6 schools that made Playball part of their curriculum. They have seen for themselves the benefits Playball has given their children and the value Playball has added to their school. Playball classes are currently being offered in nurseries, pre-schools and primary schools in more than 16 countries around the world. We already coach at most of the institutions for the past 20 years.The Playball Curriculum is designed to complement an existing schools gross motor and sports program and has developed lesson plans in consultation with leading child specialists. While the program will nurture the sports stars of the future, more importantly, by encouraging every child to participate, Playball will provide all the children in your school with a spring board into future team participation.
